This page gives an overview of the documentation that comes inside the ARTS package.

ARTS User Guide (AUG)

This should become the comprehensive manual for ARTS, both for users and developers. Should it become too large we will split it at some point in the future. Here you can:

• Look at the Pdf version.

I also tried to convert the document to html using latex2html, but this did not yield satisfactory results. Figures and equations did not show up at all. Also, the redifined sectioning commands (levela, etc.) seem to confuse the translator. Should anybody want to work on this, please go ahead! Otherwise, for now we are stuck with the printable version.

Automatic source code documentation with Doxygen

We use the doxygen program to extract documentation from comments inside the source code. See the development section in the user guide for information on how this is done. Here is the result as:
